This resort is a real hidden gem. From the onset the lobby is great and was recently refurbished. The resort itself is a little dated and so first impressions were a little skeptical. After needing to change room intially, Raul made this an easy and seemless service everything beyond this was A+. There are 3 heated pools offering ample room for even a fully booked resort. The temperature and heat was perfect and cleanliness was tip notch. Daniel was absolutely amazing for pool service, attention to detail, very polite and friendly and was always making sure we had what we needed. The poolside food was also amazing, very well cooked and great selections including a entire vegan selection. The food at the restaurants was also amazing, Jorge who wasnt always our waiter really went out of his way to look after us. Sandra who serviced our room was amazing too. These are just a few names but we had amazing service throughout and will definitely be coming back. Its clear to see many staff members have been working here for a number of years and I feel this is what makes the resort head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks for such a great vacation, we'll be back to see you all again

Thank you for the great service. All the staff are very friendly, Alex at the front desk, Ramon and Fabiola from concierge were always greeting us with a smile. The resort is old but very well maintained. The pool temperature is just right, not to warm , refreshing and clean. Thank you for your hospitality, we will see you next time.

Fabulous day at the pool & our waiter (Miguel) made me a “giants” drink for our WHL hockey team VANCOUVER Giants !!! He matched the colours of my hat - amazing man

We had a great time at the palmar. We stayed back in december for three weeks and liked it so much that we are back. The beach is great and the staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. Of special note the concierge Irma was especially helpful to us. She was there to help us book events and answer any questions that we had.

Pools are great. Resort is right on the beach. Convenient to local restaurants and grocery stores! Staff are very friendly! Non all inclusive is a great option because it encourages you to try different local cuisine.

This is our favorite location. We love the quaintness and Mexican charm of this resort. We much prefer it over the larger resorts. The staff is absolutely wonderful.

This place was great from the 1st time to our last time highly recommend this place. Great food and even greater service. Thank you Jesos and Edgar for making us feel at home. Great guys you have their Angel can't wait until our next trip.

I’ve been coming for the last +15 years and it’s always been a treat. Thanks to Rodrigo, Angel and Fernando from the sports bar for all the great service. Also, thank you Georgina and Monse from the Members Concierge for always being there with a big smile and ready to help. See you all next year.

A beautiful resort with a super friendly staff. Eriberto, Harlet, Carlos, Amir, Angelica, Etelvin, and Celestina were all so amazing. We spent a week here and we will definitely be back. 3 pools, great restaurants, and easy beach access.

We were offered this trip in a vacation package and our expectations weren't that high but to my amazement our stay was absolutely fabulous!!! Our room was perfect for two middle aged folks, king bed with a kitchenette, and the best part was, our room looked out onto the bay. The food was great and the drinks were pretty awesome too. Our cups didn't remain empty for long thanks to the wonderful staff. I would definitely go to the resort again and not think twice about it. Thank you Villa del Mar for a wonderful stay.

I had a great time here at Villa Del Palmar the activity coordinators were great! Very friendly and a lot of fun.
The food was good my room was ocean front and very nice also.

My inlaws and I spent a week at the lovely villa del palmar resort in Puerto vallarta and we all had a great time! Good food, great drinks and a very friendly and helpful staff! Ray ann did a great job on helping us find our bearings, and alerting us of the many activities! There are many things to do in the area, both on the resort and nearby!

Girls trip, the most amazing week. I absolutely think we picked the best time to vacation and enjoy the beautiful weather and people. We had 7 days of rest and relaxation. The hospitality, was great! Everyone was so friendly and courteous.The location was easy to navigate, getting back and forth to the property was a breeze. We would especially like to thank Obler and Carlos for the tequila tasting, they were awesome! The breafast, was especially delicious and the waiters were great. Daniel, the poolside waiter thank you. Lastly, Gabrielle our room attendant thank you as well for your service. I will definitely return. See you all soon!

This was my 1st visit. I have to share the experience was perfect. Check in was quick, rooms are big and clean and the staff very friendly and eager to help. I have to give a shout out to Victor. There have been few times in my life where I was completely wowed and Victor is now at the head of the class. His attention to detail for me was amazing. If you come here, reach and ask for Victor. He will make your vacation the best ever. I promise!

Great location, outstanding staff- Diego is very knowledgeable, professional and a very nice person: Jose is simply the best bellman ever: Claudia is always extremely helpful and accessible: and Ernesto is fantastic on the beach. Absolutely no hesitation to continue to come here.

Best vacation I've ever taken. Coming back asap!
