From January 31-February 3, 2018, Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit will host American Divas, a Food & Wine Festival featuring some of the world’s top Female Chefs!  The Greek themed event includes a number of exciting activities, such as talk shows, cooking classes, chopped challenges, wine tastings, and extravagant meals. The splendid affair, where participants will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with celebrity chefs, enthusiastic foodies, and other resort guests, is sure to be another Villa La Estancia sensation.

CELEBRITY CHEFS

Penny Davidi

Penny Davidi is a Food Network Celebrity Chef, USFOODS Culinary Specialist and Culinary Sales Consultant for Sysco LA. Born of Iranian-American decent and raised in California, Davidi is an innovative chef who has used the experiences in her family’s kitchen as a platform to create dishes that fuse creativity with unique personality. Once the founder and owner of Pizza Rústica, the talented chef has been featured on the Food Network’s popular show, the Food Network Star, where she became the first ever Middle Eastern finalist. She also went on to win Chopped All-Stars, another of the Food Network’s chef challenges.

Michele Ragussis

Ragussis brings a wealth of knowledge and culinary expertise to the table. Her role as a finalist on the eighth season of the Food Network series Food Network Star and as Executive chef at Central House at the Crown in Provincetown, Massachusetts means she knows how to get the job done. Her gourmet creations and succulent dishes have earned her a place in the spotlight. She has appeared on shows such as NBC Food Fighters, 24 Hour Restaurant Battle, Chopped, and Midnight Feast.

Tregaye Fraser

After studying at Le Cordon Bleu, Fraser has gone on to win the hearts of foodies with her revamped old-fashioned platters and her fusion cuisine. Her unique style and passion for creating non traditional dishes has made her a complete kitchen sensation. She holds the title of Food Network Star, taking home the top spot on the 12th season of the Food Network’s hit show, and now has gone on to co-host Kitchen Sink, where her vibrant personality and entertaining techniques show viewers how to have fun while cooking.
