The Eagles Wings Foundation Annual Donations 2022

We’ve all heard the famous saying by Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”, which is exactly what the Eagles Wings Foundation has been striving to do since 1999. This nonprofit organization was founded by The Villa Group Resorts, Tafer Resorts, and the late Jim McCarthy, a long-time Universal Vacation Club (UVC) board member. We’re extremely proud of the teamwork to ensure the donations from the Eagles Wings Foundation continue to benefit citizens of Mexico.

How do we help?

The mission of the Eagles Wings Foundation is to offer support to the less fortunate in the communities surrounding where The Villa Group Resorts operate; through various annual fundraisers, in-kind contributions, volunteer programs, and cash donations. This nonprofit in Mexico is able to offer a helping hand to local charities which conform to the strict transparency protocol.

Civil Associations

Civil associations in Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas are a group of charitable organizations that receive annual donations from the Eagles Wings Foundation in November. Approximately 4 million pesos was donated to about 32 civil associations to ensure the continuation of their yearly projects and programs to benefit citizens living in Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas.

Educational Programs

Education is key and knowledge is power so when it comes to offering foundation donations to improve literacy, it’s a no-brainer. The Eagles Wings Foundation takes pride in giving back to educational programs that promote reading, learning new skills, and finding the right teachers with special needs skills. Children are the future and should have access to educational programs more easily no matter their family’s economic circumstances.

Volunteering and donations play an important part in charitable organizations such as libraries and other educational programs for children for instance Biblioteca Los Mangos Centro Cultural, where The Festival of Letters was held and featured book presentations, poetry, reading, cartoon exposure, recognition of the best readers, and live music.

Cancer Patient Support

It’s incredibly heartbreaking to see children and young people with cancer. It’s even worse when they cannot get the help they need. Fortunately, this is a cause that is very important to The Villa Groups Resorts, Tafer Resorts, and The Eagles Wings Foundation who have banded together to raise awareness, in-kind contributions, cash donations, and volunteer programs to aid as many children as possible fighting cancer and other illnesses.

Housing Programs and more

It is paramount to care for not only children in need but also the elderly, especially those in need of housing, healthcare, and life’s basic necessities. Oftentimes, some of the poorest families have to do what they can to support a scarce life, some have to scavenge for food or things they can sell. There are many creative ways to make a difference. Helping those in need is more than a passion for us, it's simply the right thing to do.

The charitable organizations that The Eagles Wings Foundation alongside The Villa Group Resorts and Tafer Resorts support include educational programs for example schools, libraries, and scholarship programs, also orphanages, housing programs for the elderly, special needs programs and facilities, occupational and physical therapy, rehabilitation services, food banks, dental and medical facilities, and more.
